TEKNIK PEMERIKSAAN CT SCAN KEPALA DENGAN KLINIS SUSP. STROKE HEMORRHAGIC DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI AULIA HOSPITAL

Abstrak

Stroke is a common neurological manifestation, and is easily recognized from other neurological diseases  because of its sudden onset within a short time. Strokes are divided into hemorrhagic (bleeding) strokes  and non-hemorrhagic (ischemic) strokes. In a hemorrhagic stroke, blood vessels rupture so that blood  flow becomes abnormal and the blood that comes out seeps into an area of the brain and damages it.  Meanwhile, non-hemorrhagic strokes stop blood flow to the brain due to atherosclerosis or a blood clot  that has blocked a blood vessel, through the process of atherosclerosis. The aim of this study was to  determine the results of CT scans of the head and slice thickness used in patients with clinical suspicion  of hemorrhagic stroke in the Radiology Department of Aulia Hospital. Method: This research is  qualitative research with a case study approach. The results of this study were CT scans of the head with  clinically suspected non-hemorrhagic stroke at the Aulia Hospital radiology installation using a slice  thickness of 1 mm for a more detailed picture.
