THE INFLUENCE OF MOBILE LEGEND ONLINE GAME ADDICTION ON RADIOLOGY STUDENT LEARNING CONCENTRATION AT STIKES AWAL BROS PEKANBARU

Abstract

Technological advances are currently growing rapidly along with the development of internet networks that are almost connected to all corners of the country. One of the entertainments that can be accessed using the internet is online games. Students who are addicted to online games experience various problems such as often sleeping in class and also not being able to concentrate on the lessons given. This research was conducted because many of these phenomena occur in students. This study aims to determine the influence of mobile legend online game addiction on the learning concentration of Radiology students of STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru. This study uses a survey method using a linear regression analysis research design. The sample used in this study were 80 students majoring in Radiology Engineering at STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru. The data analysis method used in this research is chi-square inferential analysis using the SPSS program. For the results of the chi square test for the effect of online game addiction on learning concentration have a significant value <0.05 so it can be concluded that online game addiction has a significant effect on learning concentration on Radiology students at STIKes Awal Bros. Pekanbaru.
