Abstract

Anxiety is a condition that makes a person uncomfortable, worried, anxious, afraid, and uneasy accompanied by various physical complaints, anxiety is related to feelings of uncertainty and helplessness, this anxiety arises from feelings of discomfort or worry so that individuals increase their alertness to anticipate it. carried out by the body autonomously or without the individual realizing it. ased on a survey of one of the radiographers from 13 officers who conducted an X-ray examination of Covid-19 patients at the Radiology Installation of the Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province, the radiographer was worried. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety of radiographers in examining X-rays of Covid-19 patients at the Radiology Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research using survey methods. Data collection in this study was carried out using the HARS questionnaire as a measure of anxiety levels. The data was obtained from the results of a survey using a questionnaire that was distributed to 13 respondents from radiographers who carried out X-ray examinations of Covid-19 patients at the Radiology Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. Then the data from the questionnaire results were processed using the Index % formula to determine the level of anxiety. The research was conducted in May-June 2021. In this study, it was found that the level of anxiety of radiographers in conducting X-ray examinations of Covid-19 patients at the Radiology Installation of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province experienced moderate anxiety with a presentation of an anxiety level of 34% so that the interpretation was categorized as moderate anxiety.
