ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KESADARAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP KEBERSIHAN PADA SAAT MENGHADAPI WABAH COVID-19

(Studi Kasus Masyarakat RT 09 RW 03 Desa Tandun, Kecamatan Tandun, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, Riau)

Abstract

Environmental cleanliness is something that must be considered by everyone and a reflection of every human being. In 2019, the world was attacked by a very dangerous virus, namely the Covid-19 virus and in particular the Indonesian region experienced an increase in positive cases of the Covid-19 virus. This virus can pass from one person to another through direct interaction with one another. In this article, the authors describe the need for people to maintain environmental cleanliness and personal hygiene in order to avoid the Covid-19 virus. The study was conducted to see whether there was a comparison of public awareness of cleanliness before facing the Covid-19 outbreak with during or after facing the Covid-19 outbreak. The study was conducted using 60 samples taken randomly in the community of RT 09 RW 03 Tandun Village, Tandun District, Rokan Hulu Regency. This article states that the level of public awareness of cleanliness has increased after the Covid-19 outbreak in the area. This is indicated by the results of the inferencing analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test which has an Asymp.Sig value <0.05, where 65% of the public has an increased awareness of cleanliness after the covid-19 virus outbreak.
