Abstract

Satisfaction is the feeling of being happy or disappointed someone who comes from a comparison between his impression of the performance or results of a product and his expectations. Service quality related to satisfaction is determined by five elements that can be known as service quality “RATER” (Reability, Assurance, Tangibles, Emphaty, Responsiveness). Service quality can be defined as the level of perfection of health services in creating a sense of satisfaction in each patient, quality is called good if the service provider provides services that are equivalent to what is expected by the patient. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation of the quality radiology services to the level of satisfaction of patients undergoing chest examination at the District Meranti Islands General Hospital. This research is a quantitative research with correlation research type and survey approach method. The results of the study for the variable of correlation of the quality radiology services and the level of patient satisfaction showed that the correlation coefficient was 0.687 and was positive. And the significance value or Sig. (2-tailed) between variables is less than 0.05, which is 0.000.
