Abstract

The rise of consumption through online shops by students is one of the background problems in this study. Generally, students do online shopping not based on mere need, but for the sake of fun and lifestyle, causing someone to be extravagant or what is better known as consumptive behavior or behavior. consumerism. The problem raised in this study is how the factors affect the online shopping intensity of STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru students during Covid-19. In this research, the writer uses quantitative research. The research subjects are STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru students. The data used in this research is primary data, where the data is taken directly from the respondents. The data has been collected by using the questionnaire method. The results and discussion of this study is that the level of knowledge about the Covid-19 pandemic among STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru students does not have a significant influence on the online shopping intensity factors of STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru students, the level of influence of consumptive behavior on online shopping for STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru students During the Covid-19 Pandemic Based on the calculation results partially had a positive and significant influence on the role of STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru students in complying with government policies, and the level of knowledge about the Covid-19 Pandemic in STIKes Awal Bros Pekanbaru students did not have a significant influence on factors the intensity of online shopping for the STIKes of Awal Bros Pekanbaru students.
