ANALYSIS OF READINESS FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE USING THE DOQ-IT METHOD IN THE INPATIENT UNIT OF CONDONG CATUR HOSPITAL

Digital transformation in hospitals aims to improve service quality, including through the use of electronic signatures, which can accelerate the authentication process of medical record documents and provide legal certainty. However, the success of its implementation depends on the readiness of the organization in various aspects. Condong Catur Hospital is preparing to implement electronic signatures in the Inpatient Unit, but has never conducted a comprehensive readiness assessment. This study aims to analyze the level of readiness for electronic signature implementation using the DOQ-IT method based on aspects of human resources, organizational work culture, leadership governance, and information technology infrastructure. The study used a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 52 respondents selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the human resources aspect obtained an average score of 3.30, organizational work culture 3.61, leadership governance 3.18, and information technology infrastructure 3.30, all of which are categorized as moderately ready. The overall readiness score of 3.34 also indicates that the implementation of electronic signatures is categorized as moderately ready. Condong Catur Hospital needs to improve user training, develop supportive policies and SOPs, and strengthen management support and information technology infrastructure so that electronic signature implementation can take place effectively, safely, and sustainably.
