THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMPLIANCE WITH USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (APD) IN RADIOLOGY INSTALLATIONS WITH WORK ACCIDENTS AT THE AWAL BROS PEKANBARU HOSPITAL

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between compliance with the use of personal protective equipment  with a workplace in the Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru. The population in the study was all radiographers working at the Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru and the number of samples in this study were 15 radiographers. Sampling techniques use non probability sampling techniques. This study uses a quantitative method. Data collection techniques with the questionnaire used. The data analysis technique used is associative with correlation. The value of the relationship between the use of APD and work accidents is known that N or the amount of research data is 15, then the sig value for the use of Apron (2-tailed) is 0.165.  PB Glasses sig value (2-tailed) is 0.500.  The glove value sig (2-tailed) is 0.302.  Gonad Apron sig value (2-tailed) is 0.435.  The mask value sig (2-tailed) is 0.800. The results showed that compliance with the use of enrolled APD / collateral work accidents that took place in the Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru.
