This community service activity aims to empower medical record officers in improving the quality of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation through the implementation of the Doctor’s Office Quality–Information Technology (DOQ-IT) method at RSIA X. The background of this activity is based on the limited understanding of officers regarding EMR documentation quality standards, the lack of quality-based training, and the suboptimal implementation of measurable EMR evaluations within the hospital. The method used in this activity was an educational and participatory approach through training, mentoring, and evaluation of the DOQ-IT method implementation. The activities included socialization of EMR quality concepts, training on documentation quality indicators, implementation of DOQ-IT modules integrated with the hospital management information system, and assistance in conducting audits and evaluations of medical record quality for medical record officers at RSIA X. The results showed an improvement in the officers’ understanding and skills in implementing EMR documentation quality standards, increased compliance in completing electronic medical records, and the establishment of an internal quality management team within the hospital. This activity contributed to improving the quality of medical record documentation, strengthening officers’ digital literacy, and supporting more effective and sustainable information technology-based healthcare quality management. Thus, the implementation of the DOQ-IT method in this community service activity can serve as a solution to support the optimization of Electronic Medical Record implementation at RSIA X. These findings indicate that quality-based training and mentoring approaches can be continuously developed to support the digital transformation of healthcare services in hospitals.
